Page Layouts

Neptune content is displayed within page layouts, which consist of content panes laid out on a grid in a way that you determine. This page, for example, has a simple two-column layout, with the narrower content pane on the right. Here are some examples of page layouts that you might use on your site:

The page you are looking at uses the first layout shown above.

This content resides in the second content pane on this page. Neptune allows you to define page layouts to have an arbitrary number of content panes, each of which contains a single content item. Content items may be placed in any pane on any page on your site, and pages themselves can be placed on any node on your site.

Because of this, you never need to enter content more than once on a Neptune site. Content may be repurposed or repeated as you like.
