Based on the Neptune Web Content
Management (WCM) platform, the user-friendly site offers expanded coverage in financial literacy, health, sports, space science, and book reviews. The Simpson Street Free Press will be able to deliver its important message to thousands more students across Wisconsin.
MADISON, Wisconsin June 22, 2010 – Simpson Street Free Press announced the launch of their new online publication, Free Press Online, on the Neptune Web Content Management (WCM) platform from
IMS. The new Simpson Street Free Press online publication offers expanded coverage and additional opportunities for students to learn and contribute in an industry being shaped by new technology.
"This online project will allow the Free Press organization to include more students in our programs," said Jim Kramer, Executive Director of the Simpson Street Free Press. "We wanted a more interactive online publication that would help expand our reach beyond our local hard copy deliveries, and we needed a platform
that would allow our students to expand our use of multimedia. IMS graciously donated their platform and expertise to help us make this publication a reality." "We were thrilled to be able to make this donation to the Simpson Street Free Press," said Mark Clear, CEO of IMS. "The students and staff attacked this project with great enthusiasm and energy, and built a publication that will serve them well for years to come."
